Our adoption fees help cover several medical care costs that the dogs need before he or she finds a new home.   The fee covers your dogs spaying or neutering, which is an important step in controlling the pet population here in North Carolina.  Heartworms are very pervasive in this area, so all our dogs receive a Heartworm test upon arrival and Heartworm preventative monthly thereafter.

Also every dog receives a Distemper and a Rabies vaccine before being re-homed as both these canine diseases are very serious and can be fatal to dogs.  Deworming and Flea / Tick treatment is also provided for each dog to keep all our dogs happy and healthy while they wait for the forever home.
