We all had a wonderful time today at our first large fundraising event. We saw tons of former dogs from here at the rescue and the wonderful families who gave them loving forever homes. We also met a lot of new people who came out for a little bit of dog training tips from Mike Baker and to listen to Cat Warren who gave a super interesting lecture about her experience working with cadaver dogs. And in between we had some great musical interludes provided by the very talented Michel Sullivan. We like to thank everyone for coming out and making our event a rousing success. Especially thanks to all the volunteers that helped put the event together and to all the sponsors who donated awesome items for the silent auctions. Also a special thanks to MIke Baker, Cat Warren and Michel Sullivan for donating their time and even providing some items for the auctions and to Norman Walker for the use of his event building on his beautiful farm.
