We had a wonderful time at the adoption event we attended today at our local PetSence store in Reidsville, NC. We had a lot of people stop by and met with the dogs we had their for adoption and many others purchased t-shirts and give donations. The best news is Nikey got a forever home today! :Dennis and Tammy from Reidsville  fell in love with the big goofy boy and made the decision to make him a part of their family. We want to thank Dennis and Tammy for opening their home and hearts to a rescue dog in need. And also to all those who came by and purchased shirts or donated some money; all of the money raised goes directly to the dogs care until hey find their forever homes. We also have to thank all the people who help with this event, Bill Bush of Caswell Pet Lifeline came by early and helped with setup, Joanne Shellenberger for helping with the care of the dogs and with tedious tear down of all the stuff we hauled there. We also had help from a couple Cub Scouts from local Pack 372, Keaton and Alex, who made sure the dogs had water and the cash box was under guard at all times.:)  And to PetSence and Micol Clark for inviting us there again, we had such a great time and are looking forward to doing it again very soon.
